YOU'VE BEEN AROUND THE WORLD.

YOU WERE BORN KNOWING that you want to have a gorgeous insanely cool ass house.

You know that branding yourself (what you wear and how you present yourself) and branding your home (the space you create) is really f’ing powerful.

You know that branding yourself will allow you to create the business, the life the personal power you know you want.

You know you have impeccable taste. You know that you want to have your home reflect that. You know what you love.

BUT YOU NEED A PARTNER IN CRIME.

LIKE A GOOD GIRLFRIEND.

YOU NEED HELP PULLING IT ALL TOGETHER.

You know what you like. You know that you need to know how to do it and in what order. You believe in having a concept.

AND YOU KNOW THAT THE CONCEPT HAS TO BE F’IN COOL AND EPIC.

YOU CRAVE COOL. YOU KNOW WHAT CHIC IS.

YOU’VE BEEN AROUND THE WORLD AND YOU KNOW THAT YOU CRAVE THE CHIC, THE EPIC, THE COOL. THE BADEST SHIT ON EARTH.

THE FREAKING CREATIVE EDGE.

Chic & Epic.

And you want it now.

You want it simple and clean and simple.

Simple and cool. Is all you want.

Period.

Its simple easy and minimal.

Not complicated with all the ugly distractions of the world.

Just the clear clean VISION of what you want.

That’s all you want.

Edit the stuff out that doesn’t serve you.

Edit.

And then edit some more.

Create vision.

Edit the vision.

Make it tight.

Make it right.

Create the plan and execute.

BUT THE FOUNDATION OF ALL OF WHAT YOU WANT IS TO CLEAR AWAY THE STUFF THAT DOESN’T MATTER.

GET RID OF ALL THE DISTRACTIONS.

EDIT YOUR LIFE.

EDIT YOUR HOME.

CLEAR AWAY THOSE THINGS THAT JUST MAKE YOUR VISION BLURRY.

GET A CLEAR VISION.

PERIOD.

Clear Vision is like a Clear Photo.

With a clear vision the execution has guidelines. Execution can be so much simpler when you have the exact foundation. Knowing exactly what you want and executing only that.

Not what other people think.

Not listening to other peoples opinions.

When your vision is clear you know that, for example:

• It’s modern (and not traditional)
• It’s relaxed (and therefore not formal)
• It’s urban (and therefore not country)
• It’s soft neutrals with some powerful punches of bold or color (and therefore not overall colorful)
• It has a some tribal ethnic undertones (which means more of a rustic raw ethnic and not the delicate lacy ethnic patterns)

When you know what your vision is. You also know what it's not.

Now it's time to get to clear on your vision.

Decide what your home will be and what it won’t be.

Choose (5) elements from the list below. (2) are the main style elements of your home, (1) is a secondary element, and the remaining (2) are to be used minimally as accents.

• Modern
• Traditional
• Classic
• Rustic
• Formal
• Clean lines
• Elegant
• Bold
• Eclectic
• Powerful
• Deep colors
• Airy Whites
• Fresh & Updated
• Thick
• Thin
• Airy colors
• Jewel Tones
• Layers
• Simple
• Black & White Photography
• Modern artwork
• Sculpture
• Ethnic Patterned rugs
• Formal Patterned rugs
• Overall textured rugs
• Luxe layers of decorative accessories

Good. Now write down these (5) elements.

Create a vision board on Pinterest. Save images that only fall into these five categories.

Remember it’s really easy to get distracted by all the other things jumping out and screaming for your attention.

BUT STAY FOCUSED.

Stay focused on your vision.

Edit out images that may have snuck on there in your distracted state, but when you go back to look at your vision board a few images stick out as “We don’t belong here.”

DELETE.

Just quickly remove things that don’t work.

HINT: this is often the case. I spend 50% of my time removing what does not belong. And this can also be the path to getting a clear vision.

CLEAR VISION BOARDS ARE THE FOUNDATION TO CREATING THE HOME YOU CRAVE.

Get started on your vision board today. Spend 15 minutes daily adding to it. After a week you will have a clear idea of what you want your home to look like.

Go be your bad ass boss babe self.
