“I DESERVE NEXT LEVEL!” And the most important room in your house, YOUR BEDROOM 🏡 🛌 😍💛

Hey love! Today I’m kicking off a 5 part series on minimalism and style (the two things I’m most passionate about!)

Why does your bedroom need to be next level?

You deserve luxury and comfort.
You deserve to feel loved.
You deserve romantic vibes.
(No matter if you’re single or attached).
You deserve to have the best sleep.

When I clear and restyle bedrooms I always make them like a five star hotel room. Luxury is number one. Clean, clear and easy to use is number two.

I love using this approach!

Because hotel rooms (the good ones 😉)

Always have,
- a great bed, solid and with a headboard
- are free of personal junk and clutter
- feel amazing to jump into the freshly turned down bed at night or just for a little cat nap
- is clear space you feel great sharing with your partner
- allows you to have deep, deep sleep
- great style and a design that is sexy AF
- amazing fluffy pillows to sink into
- fluffy down duvets that make you feel like a queen
- quiet and serene
- fresh air
- and water in a full carafe

And a great hotel room does not have
- anything that smells bad
- piles of clutter or paperwork
- random things you don’t actually need or even want lying around
- stuff all over the floor
- trash or paper / plastic bags and packaging

You deserve all of this and so much more.

If your bedroom is a little lacking in this department, figure out why you’ve put this off 🤔

Realize that if you’re busy, creative and professional you need a solid loving foundation at home to truly support your most genius self.

I’m the girl who’s here to help you get to your next level sexy AF home that works for you and helps you achieve your dreams.

Lots of love and happy Tuesday beautiful 🌹💎🥂

YOU WANT TO FEEL FREE

January 16, 2016

HOW DO YOU WANT TO FEEL IN THAT SPACE YOU INHABIT?

That space you inhabit day in and day out. That space that you breathe in and out inside of. That space that you inhabit and make all of your decisions in. That space that you inhabit when you experience you greatest highs and your greatest lows.

THAT SPACE YOU INHABIT.

SO HOW DO YOU WANT TO FEEL INSIDE THAT SPACE?

You want to feel fun.
You want to feel free.
You want to feel beautiful.
You want to feel cool.
You want to feel chic.
You want to feel sexy.
You want to feel cherished.
You want to feel connected.
You want to feel loved.
You want to feel desire.
You want to feel mystery.
You want to feel peace.
You want to feel ease.
You want to feel creative.
You want to feel passion.
You want to feel excitement.

You want to feel the deepest sense of your heart, of your truth, of your wisdom, of your choice to be free, to be wild, to be big, to be bright.

You want to feel what you want to feel, create what you want to create, love what you want to love.

You want to feel free.

So set yourself free.

It starts with a vision. It starts with a reason.

STEP ONE, create a vision board for the room you most want to change. I love using Pinterest for vision boards, its so easy to find the coolest of cool, things that excite me.

STEP TWO, notice what are the emerging themes of the images you've saved? Do you have a lot of white? Do you have a lot of clean lines? Do you have a lot of texture? Do you have a lot of patterned rugs? Do you have a lot of plants?

STEP THREE, focusing on the emerging themes, begin to delete the rest. Feel free to release what does not seem to fit in. Drop it. Let it go. Editing is one of the most important skills to have in creating good design.

STEP FOUR, really focus in on the TWO main themes that deeply call you. These are the focus, these are the boss. Like a hierarchy, like a good song, you need those elements that are strong and then the complimentary elements are the accents.

STEP FIVE, let one or two elements be the accents. Is it your favorite shade of deep emerald green? Is it your obsession with stripes? Is it your love of charcoal grey? Is it your love of luxe materials like shiny metallic or copper?

STEP SIX, choose to create space that will set you free. choose to create a space that will allow you feel how you want to feel.

Happy decorating,

xx J
