Potential to be Incredible:

Your home has the potential to be incredible, also it’s important to know that it takes a lot of energy, focus, time, money and a sense of humor!

Things you want to know in order to get started:

▪ How many square feet do you want to update, remodel or build?

▪ How many rooms do you want to update?

▪ What specific items do you want to change?

▪ What is on your wish list?

▪ How do you want to feel when you’re using each area?

▪ What style of architecture is your home?

▪ Do you know your style(s)?

▪ What is your partners style?

Be sure to create a budget, a timeline and really understand the specific needs of your home:

▪ How much is your total budget?

▪ Would you like to phase your project?

▪ What are your schedule goals?

▪ Do you have any events you’re planning to use the space for?

▪ Do you have kids and pets? What are the ages and how many of each?

“I DESERVE NEXT LEVEL!” And the most important room in your house, YOUR BEDROOM 🏡 🛌 😍💛

Hey love! Today I’m kicking off a 5 part series on minimalism and style (the two things I’m most passionate about!)

Why does your bedroom need to be next level?

You deserve luxury and comfort.
You deserve to feel loved.
You deserve romantic vibes.
(No matter if you’re single or attached).
You deserve to have the best sleep.

When I clear and restyle bedrooms I always make them like a five star hotel room. Luxury is number one. Clean, clear and easy to use is number two.

I love using this approach!

Because hotel rooms (the good ones 😉)

Always have,
- a great bed, solid and with a headboard
- are free of personal junk and clutter
- feel amazing to jump into the freshly turned down bed at night or just for a little cat nap
- is clear space you feel great sharing with your partner
- allows you to have deep, deep sleep
- great style and a design that is sexy AF
- amazing fluffy pillows to sink into
- fluffy down duvets that make you feel like a queen
- quiet and serene
- fresh air
- and water in a full carafe

And a great hotel room does not have
- anything that smells bad
- piles of clutter or paperwork
- random things you don’t actually need or even want lying around
- stuff all over the floor
- trash or paper / plastic bags and packaging

You deserve all of this and so much more.

If your bedroom is a little lacking in this department, figure out why you’ve put this off 🤔

Realize that if you’re busy, creative and professional you need a solid loving foundation at home to truly support your most genius self.

I’m the girl who’s here to help you get to your next level sexy AF home that works for you and helps you achieve your dreams.

Lots of love and happy Tuesday beautiful 🌹💎🥂

WANT YOUR HOUSE TO FEEL LIKE THE BAD ASS THAT YOU ARE?

November 18, 2015

I know you want to update that room of yours or maybe you’ve just moved into a new home and need to determine what to do with all of the spaces.

Wherever you are at in your design and decorating journey if you want to ensure you are SATISFIED with the outcome follow this THREE-PART RECIPE.

Wanna know what those three parts are?

Yes?

Are you ready to commit to having a bad ass home?  Are you ready to up your decorating game?

Yes?

You want to create the home of your dreams?

OK GOOD.  THAT’S WHAT I THOUGHT!

PART ONE:

Your commitment to being a bad ass, if you choose to accept...

DO YOU?

BE FULLY COMMITTED TO CREATING FUNCTION + BEAUTY.

A.K.A.  You want your house to feel like the bad ass that you are.

Through this commitment you will also need to commit to something else you may not have thought of…..

WHAT NOT TO DO.

Otherwise known as, My Stop Doing List.

Good design is good because there is a laser focus.  Which means the ability to know when something DOES NOT BELONG and eliminating thatthing immediately.

“Simplicity is complexity resolved.”

PART TWO:

From Drab to Fab.

THIS IS YOUR GUIDE FOR COMMITING TO WHAT IT TAKES TO CLEAR THE WAY FOR THE FOUNDATION TO BE LAID.

MOOD BOARDS.

CLUTTER CLEARING.

YOUR EXISTING STUFF.

All of these must be addressed FIRST.

Do not take a step further until you have properly created a mood board for each space.  Cleared out the clutter that’s been piling up creating stuck energy and holding you back in your life.  And be honest with yourself about what existing pieces to keep.  What existing pieces are truly fabulous and should be kept, and what pieces are tired, stained, broken, out grown that need to go?

PART THREE:

The Power Position.

THROUGH PROPER PLACEMENT OF EVERYTHING YOUR SPACE WILL SUPPORT YOU IN LIVING THE LIFE YOU KNOW YOU ARE MEANT TO LEAD.

And guess what, shopping is the last thing you do!

DON’T BELIEVE ME?

SHOPPING IS LAST!

STILL DON’T BELIEVE ME?

YES SHOPPING IS THE LAST THING YOU DO.

Your problems will not be solved in a furniture showroom!

The power position means the COMPOSITION that will be your room.

COMPOSITION IS THE KEY.

This is similar to how a painter composes a painting.  Or how a composer arranges a symphony.  Each element is carefully examined in relation to the greater whole.  And is examined for the function, layout, size, color, texture and style.

Exactly in that order.
