▪ How do you want to feel when you’re using each area?

“I DESERVE NEXT LEVEL!” And the most important room in your house, YOUR BEDROOM 🏡 🛌 😍💛

Hey love! Today I’m kicking off a 5 part series on minimalism and style (the two things I’m most passionate about!)

Why does your bedroom need to be next level?

You deserve luxury and comfort.
You deserve to feel loved.
You deserve romantic vibes.
(No matter if you’re single or attached).
You deserve to have the best sleep.

When I clear and restyle bedrooms I always make them like a five star hotel room. Luxury is number one. Clean, clear and easy to use is number two.

I love using this approach!

Because hotel rooms (the good ones 😉)

Always have,
- a great bed, solid and with a headboard
- are free of personal junk and clutter
- feel amazing to jump into the freshly turned down bed at night or just for a little cat nap
- is clear space you feel great sharing with your partner
- allows you to have deep, deep sleep
- great style and a design that is sexy AF
- amazing fluffy pillows to sink into
- fluffy down duvets that make you feel like a queen
- quiet and serene
- fresh air
- and water in a full carafe

And a great hotel room does not have
- anything that smells bad
- piles of clutter or paperwork
- random things you don’t actually need or even want lying around
- stuff all over the floor
- trash or paper / plastic bags and packaging

You deserve all of this and so much more.

If your bedroom is a little lacking in this department, figure out why you’ve put this off 🤔

Realize that if you’re busy, creative and professional you need a solid loving foundation at home to truly support your most genius self.

I’m the girl who’s here to help you get to your next level sexy AF home that works for you and helps you achieve your dreams.

Lots of love and happy Tuesday beautiful 🌹💎🥂

I DON'T CARE WHERE THE STUFF COMES FROM, I CARE ABOUT HOW IT MAKES ME FEEL.

November 09, 2015

START CREATING THE COMPOSITION OF YOUR ROOM.

Think about how the things you are choosing makes you feel.  Does that completely solid accordion window shade make you feel claustrophobic?  I know it makes me feel that way.  And so those types of shades are always a NO.  There is no life in them, just function, but misses the mark on the beauty.  Good design means function + beauty/grace/elegance/cool/etc.

How something makes me feel is why I am either drawn to it or repelled by it.

DOES THAT PATTERN (of your area rug/pillow/duvet cover) FEEL CLASSIC/TIMELESS?  DOES IT HAVE AN ELEMENT THAT DRAWS YOU IN?

I keep seeing things (rugs, pillows, etc) that feel like a bad knock off.  I’m here to tell you to KNOCK THAT OFF.   Stop buying things that feel dated, or does not feel sophisticated and that does not have an elevated design aesthetic.  Just stop purchasing those items.

LIMIT THE ITEMS YOU WILL NEED TO REPLACE

If we start following these guidelines, we will move out of buying things because we need them now, and start evaluating what will really be great to have and own long term.  Those things that are truly cool, classic or timeless.  Like that amazing hand bag you know will be a piece you have for your life time, so too should your home furnishings have this level of cool and chic.
